What is USPS?
We're not the Post Office.
Organized in 1914, United States Power Squadrons is a non profit, educational organization dedicated to making boating safer and more enjoyable by teaching classes in seamanship, navigation and related subjects. In recent years, United States Power Squadrons has rebranded itself under the name America’s Boating Club to better reflect its commitment to the public to provide education and training to the boating public and to provide a community on line and in person where boaters can gather. Our members are boating families who contribute to their communities by promoting safe boating through education. We enjoy participating with our fellow members on the water and in the classroom. America’s Boating Club has nearly 35,000 members organized into 350 squadrons across the country and in some US territories. During the proud history of United States Power Squadrons, the organization has remained America's largest non-profit boating organization and has been honored by three US presidents for its civic contributions.
